Garden Design Process1. Starts with a garden design consultationThis includes a 1-2 hour consultation to discuss what you want from your garden during which I will make suggestions and offer different options. During the process it is important at this stage to work out a timescale which fits in with you and establish your budget.
If landscaping, clearing or tree work is required, I can arrange this and may return for a site visit with a landscaper. Copies of my notes, further information and web links will be emailed to you so you can confirm what was discussed. After your confirmation any changes or additions can occur extra charges. 2. Garden design drawings: (See design image gallery)Once the paperwork and initial sketches are agreed on, I will then produce a scaled drawing by hand that will give a clear representation of the existing site and present design solution options on overlays.
Once you have received these and agreed on the final design and areas of responsibility, I will send you an estimate which will need to be signed and returned to me along with a non-returnable deposit. After this time any changes or additions to the garden design will occur extra charges as I will have spent time and expenses towards fulfilling the original brief. 3. The workI can arrange for all the gardening and landscaping work as agreed. You will be consulted at each stage of the project, and sign off the work daily.
Or you can go with your own good builder or Landscaper. I recommend finding someone trustworthy with a good reputation on Check-a-trade. PLEASE NOTE: Bookings can be 1-2 months ahead during the busy spring and summer period. Waste recycling and disposal can be charged additionally as they usually undertaken by separate companies; I can arrange for this to be done after the work is completed. We usually work within a 10 mile radius of the Shoreham, Brighton and Hove area, but are happy to travel within East & West Sussex or beyond if required.

I can work with you to design and create such a haven. Allow yourself to reconnect to the spirit to the natural world. It can be a place for both prayer and meditation. It can be a place of relaxation, for personal growth. Finally, it should give you a sense of peace that the outer world does not frequently provide. |
